My family had a great experience. The salesman Rodger and Brian the sales manager were awesome in helping us with our purchase. They made sure that we were comfortable during the transaction. Then Rodger stayed late getting everything together for us. He then came outside 2 hours after closing to explain the truck to us. I have told friends and family about how nice this team is, and how they worked with us. I will definitely be back to Mark Porter Chevrolet if I purchase another truck. Thanks again!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Took time to make sure I was well informed on the status of my service and repairs. Went above and beyond when I noticed a little dirt left on the carseat. Staff member immediately to my car to have the area cleaned and returned it within 10 minutes with the issue resolved. Well worth the 40 minute drive to have my Buick serviced and repaired. Even though I have 3 Buick dealerships within 10 minutes of my house, I will continue to drive to Mark Porter in Pomeroy every time I need my car serviced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Sale team, Vincent and Chase are amazing to work with....the service department is terrible each time I leave there it's back in a week....Service guy joe is always rude and arrogant and Jeremy is not knowledgeable at all to be lead over the department he couldn't even tell me if the turbomax engine was diesel or gas on the loaner they gave me.....this place has the absolute best sales team I've ever dealt with but the service department needs a complete overhaul.....Service guy Brady was the best person in that department

We feel like we were lied to and took advantage of, we were charged $500+ for turning the engine light off ! We previously talked to one of Mark Porter’s mechanics who told us it would be $300 to fix two broken bolts on the exhaust manifold, which we didn’t even get fixed. The service manager insinuated that we were lying that we didn’t talk to any mechanics. The woman who makes the appointments is the one who transferred us to talk to one of them we don’t lie.! There’s not enough space to tell you about our experience at Mark Porter GMC. We were ripped off and shame on you

I wasn’t told it was going to take as long as it did to install my running boards and mud guards. I advised the service department I needed to be finished by 11:00. I wasn’t told it would take longer than that. Finally at 1:00 they came and told me they were giving me a loner. By the time I got home, my sister had already left to go to her appointment. She had 2 strokes, and carotid artery surgery. She was going for a scan and to another hospital for the appointment. I go to her appointments to make certain we get all of the information correct.

Joe (the service advisor) took my vehicle in and my issues were taken care of. Joe does a wonderful job of explaining what the vehicle is doing and why. A statement he said was eye opening for me, that, I should not look at my vehicle as a product that contains "electronics" but to instead, look at the vehicle as a "computer". Mark Porter has a Great Service Team. Something else that comes to mind, is Mark Porters service schedule, meaning, when I show up to a scheduled service, my vehicle is taken in (and released back to me) , in a timely manner. I've had many other vehicles and the vast majority of them (their service department) will schedule an appointment only to find out upon arrival that I am in line behind all others arriving before me even though I am scheduled. I enjoy that, when I arrive at Mark Porters service center (and even though I spend a little time in the waiting room), my vehicle is being seen at its scheduled time. Great Crew !!!!

I returned to the dealership/service garage after my service was complete to get the front and rear passenger side tire pressures recalibrated. I had returned home (Amesville Ohio, 40 miles) and the passenger side tire pressure sensor alert alarm activated. I called your service department and they asked me to return for recalibration repairs. This caused me an extra 80 mile trip.

Found 2 trucks on dealers website. Called and made appointment to test drive. Morning of visit I verify i would be there. Both trucks were not ready to test drive and were on empty amd covered on plastic. We did pull the plastic off the seats of the charcoal truck one and did short drive. The salesman was showing me all the features and especially the trailer cameras. Told him can't wait to pull my boat with this system, love the blind spot mirrors. We walked over to the Matalic truck. It had not been touch from delivery. I liked the color better. We took the two window stickers and compared. Only different we seen was it had the X31 package. We didn't realize it only had the back up camera. I realized when I took it home and was setting up with my info. Called and asked what I can do. Was told come back today and exchange for the charcoal truck or keep the Matalic truck. I asked to help have cameras installed. I called and was told that parts and labor were going to be $2,149 plus tax. The GMC website for this location has $1249 for system and for $349 install plus tax. I was told the My-GMC prices were wrong. I called the dealer in Circleville and they helped me ordered using my GMC app. Told we about the coupons available. I ordered had delivered to them and install was $200. Total price $1166 plus tax. So the dealer I purchased the truck wants to over charge me $1000! They were not helpful al all.

I was told I didn't need to call in to check if the part for my car was in (part took almost 6 weeks to come in) I would receive a call when it arrived. I did not. I made a unnecessary trip to the dealership (about 40 miles). This isn't the first time I have been told they would do something didn't.

This was my first service with you guys and I have to say, I was left very disappointed from the start. The gentleman who signed me in and took my keys gave me no direction as to where to go or what to do, I.e if I needed to sign anything or what. He just took my keys and started taking pictures of my truck on an iPad with no further direction or dialogue (again, this was my first experience there so I wasn’t sure of the process). After this, it took two and a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The service tech did explain that he was the only one there, so I can understand this. He was very polite and cordial. Finally, I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that during my first service the DEF system was supposed to be topped off and it was not. I did not notice this until I was half way home.

Came in for my first oil change & tire rotation. I don’t believe either were done. I had the service writer check the oil with me. The dip stick was still showed dirty oil. The tires were definitely NOT rotated & sir pressures were not checked. The right front tire was at 31 pounds. The service writer had a guy go get a manual gage. It was still at 31 pounds. I cancelled my extended warranty & I will not darken your door again. I just ordered a new Vette from Don Wood. Hopefully their service department will me more trustworthy.

As far as dealerships go, Mark Porter Chevrolet GMC Buick was a cut above, with a clean environment and chairs that weren't worn out (like the last Ford dealer I went to). Also, the salesperson that serviced my enquiry was pleasant and efficient, and didn't smell of cigarette smoke (again, like the Ford dealer). As far as the actual sales experience, it was a typical dealership sale, with the usual negotiation tactics being used. I was able to meet the General Manager, which I appreciated.

Well it certainly cost more than I was planning on paying for an oil change, tire rotation and cabin filter. Unfortunately it required tire sensors. Which I think should have been under warranty yet. My 2011 Equinox has over 100,000 miles and hasn’t required them. Anyway it’s nice to have them.

People were nice but I was disappointed with the timing of my oil change. My appointment was at 11:00, I got there 10 minutes early, pulled in, went to the waiting area, finally at 12:18, they came and told me my car was ready. I missed an extra hour of work because it took so long. It is disappointing when you have an appointment but have so many people ahead of you that it takes almost an hour and a half just to get an oil change. I drive around 25 minutes one way and having it take so long, I had to miss more work than I planned. So I am a bit disappointed about that.

I had a great experience with Brady worked with me to get my truck checked out and serviced. I would like to comment on Brady he is very helpful and cares about the Coustmer. I just don’t understand why an oil change is over $100. For a 2012 Tahoe. And less than $100. For a 2020 Silverado. Both with the same motor but the Silverado holds more oil. I’m going to have to find me a cheeper service if this Price continues to rise. When the price of oil has went down by the barrel. Thanks for listening.

Had an appointment for oil change. Since we had four prior oil changes this one was free. They not only changed the oil but rotated the tires and checked other things as well. And even washed the car. There was no charge for any of this service and they did all of this in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the service department at Mark Porter and will continue to take our Buick there to have it serviced.

This was the second time I took my truck in for an ECM recall, and the lack of propulsion recall.The first time I took my vehicle in. I had a 7:45 appointment but they never started working on my truck until 10:15 that morning and then all they did was put my truck into the service bay and just left it set there none of the service people told me there was going to be a delay when I asked how much longer it was going to be they said possibly 1 to 2 hours so I got angry over the delay that’s why you make an early morning appointment so I asked for my truck back and left. So yesterday on 10/13 I took my truck back for the same two recalls this time they got started on it right away and did the two updates on the vehicle then gave me the vehicle back then on the way home my super cruise would not work so I called the dealership they said bring it back there.They said when they scanned the ECM it just got turned off so I left again still no super cruise so I went back to dealer they rescanned my truck and said the telemetrics module was corrupted, and they would have to order a new one and also during this time they had told me that I could consult my owners manual in my truck about how to use the super cruise but when I looked, my owners manual was not there my wife and myself are the only people with access to the vehicle and we didn’t take it out.

I came from out of state. The process was great. Online team was good. Jesse was great. There was no pressure to act at all. New price was a great deal and the trade price was honest based on my market research. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars was the amount of time I spent in the dealership signing and waiting to sign papers. I had my own financing, brought the check but it still took about 90 minutes start to finish without a test drive.

Had first new oil change in 2025 Yukon on 10/23/25. Drove home.All went well until next day and oil was all over my concrete drive. Had to have vehicle towed back to dealership on 10/24. Upon exam by service dept the oil filter was not tightend. Had to make special trip on 10/25 to pick-up vehicle. I was fortunate that I did not drive it from dealership somewhere else and all the oil would have exited vehicle and blown engine

They finally fixed my super cruise (this is the second time it’s messed up)the last time they said it died because of a software. Update.i really like the truck its feature and color.Ever since I have purchased this truck new I’ve had problems. glitches in the electronics where I would have to pull over and restart the truck plus the recall on the L87 engine the GMC fix was to dump heavier oil in it change the oil fill cap and install an insert in my owners manual unfortunately my owners manual is missing from my truck.since the 1st time I took my truck in for service on the engine which I they failed to perform I had a 7:45 AM appointment 2 hours and 30 minutes later my vehicle was still outside they hadn’t even started on it yet so I demanded my truck back.filled a customer service survey.Mark Porter only replied with a computer generated response no human reached out to me.

First and foremost, Amy Harrison was amazing and went above and beyond to get me the right truck for me. However, while she was out sick I spoke with Jesse Kimes to hold a red Chevy 1500 rst. After doing the credit app as he requested to “lock down” the truck, he proceeded to sell the truck. When questioned about it, he blamed it on a bogus “misunderstanding”. Then on top of that he failed to keep my 5pm confirmed meeting and when I arrived I was told he had left. Thankfully Amy was there at that point and was able to talk me down because I was ready to walk at that point. I asked her several times if there was an explanation and she had never received one. I also never spoke or even saw a manager about the situation. I have been in several sales positions throughout my career and would never treat a customer the way Jesse treated me! In my opinion he should have been fired or at the very least he needs to be put back in a cubical and Amy moved into his office because he has a lot more to learn about customer service and communication!!

I made an appointment for an oil change and front brakes. NOT rotors. I had an idea of the cost so I wasn’t worried about what I felt like it would be. Upon completion I received a TEXT that my vehicle was done and that my total would be $872. Around $500-600 MORE than what I was expecting! I texted back asking if that was accurate, I got no response. When I got to the service dept I ask for them to go over the itemized bill with me. They bragged but they put quality top of the line parts on. That’s when I saw rotors listed for over $400. I do not know if I needed rotors, my husband said I should not have needed them. I feel that the service department should have called and ask me if I wanted them replaced. They should have called and let me know of the condition of my current rotors! They did not. It was the week before Christmas. I was not expecting that amount of money. What would’ve happened if I absolutely did not have the extra money? It was pay day that very day thankfully. But I had other bills due that did not get paid. It was a complete rip off and dirty how they did not inform me of my rotor condition before replacing! I am absolutely certain that should’ve have never been on my work order to begin with. I would’ve never thought to have ask for rotors! Poor communication and just down right greedy to expect a customer to pay over 500$ more than the service requested

I came in for a alignment and wheels and tire's mounted and balanced that I bought somewhere else and taking home my old wheels and tires. I didn't have my glasses on so I couldn't see my bill.i thought it sounded a little high but figured that was the right amount. Anyway they charged me $24 for disposal fee. And charged me $139.99 for the alignment and environmental fee$1.50 and I had a 10% discount coupon. So I seen this when I got home. First thing I shouldn't have been charged the $24 tire disposal fee since I took my old tire's and wheels home. Second the alignment was supposed to be $69 as of your website says until 1/29/26.the environmental fee of $1.50 for what.not too wored about that. Third i had a coupon for 10% off and didn't get any off.fourth i called and talked to service guy didn't catch his name. He said I shouldn't have been charged the tire disposal fee.i asked about the alignment he said that the $139.99 was the right price that there website must be wrong. Told me to bring paper work back up there, which is 25 miles one way.and could get it taken care of.its like i payed over a $100 to much.i am not happy with Mark Porter service department. I guess I'll have to go back up there and see what happens.
